this is the big question in my mind, but for me, well…………….i would say “NO”. There are some instances that although he uses a variety of teaching styles, but are those teaching styles suitable to the learners? Just like jean-Jacques Rousseau, he believed that “teachers should concern primarily with the mental and physical development of the student and the subject matters should be the secondary objective. ” A teacher plays vital role in shaping the mind-set of society and therefore, to become an effective and efficient teacher, there should be a systematic presentation of ideas, techniques to students; he must have a special skills to demonstrate his knowledge of the subject he wish to teach. and always keep an eye on students to know their strengths and weaknesses. If children are weak in something, help them improve them. And if some of them are brilliant, don’t forget to motivate them. This will help them revive their interest in further learning. and that is an effective and efficient teacher.
